Here at Colehouse, we’re change execution engineers.
Each member of our team offers expansive experience, expertise, and a proven track record in change execution. Our founders, Phil Tootell and Richard Mossman, are well-known masters of delivery who have nurtured and grown consultancies before. Joined recently by Dan O’Connor, our team’s capacity for leadership and project management continues to expand.
We understand that great teams make change happen, and we pride ourselves on being easy to work with, and integrating well with your teams, technology and processes to deliver you a better outcome. We’ve all worked with experts who have delivered something incredible, only for the business to not be able to use it because they weren’t “on the journey”.

Phil Tootell
Originally from a farming background in New Zealand, Phil moved to the UK in 1999. He’s been involved in businesses since an early age, and has been running his own enterprises since 2001. He’s a transformation and change specialist with over 20 years’ experience and a passion for pragmatism and (un)common sense decision-making. He’s passionate about culture and “getting things done” and believes that providing focus, leadership and the right energy can help organisations achieve extraordinary results.
Richard Mossman
Over the past 25 years Richard has worked on some of the biggest business and IT change programmes in the financial services, life and pensions, telecommunications, trade exchange and media sectors.
During that time he has held executive positions on the board of several ‘City-based’ businesses, building and growing, from inception, a number of successful professional service consulting firms.
Dan O’Connor
With over 12 years in financial services, Dan specialises in large-scale project management, navigating complex regulatory frameworks including SEC rules, DORA, SFTR, MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd Frank, and Brexit. A graduate in International Business, he has a proven track record with global tier one banks, ensuring projects deliver exceptional value. His strategic insight and commitment significantly contribute to Colehouse's reputation for excellence and innovation in the industry.
